the scaffold
I was one of those people who read every book that started, on principle.
Until I met the only gentleman I ever met in my life, that with the experience that gave him twenty years, he said, "With the little time we have and all you need to read you going to lose something to read do not like?. Hey, and convinced me (I've always been somewhat influenced).
That was fifteen years ago, and since then I left without leer.Creo twelve books that I finished high school a must-read, but I have to make sure before you write it here because it is the classic that puts eeeeverybody in favorite readings, and all pro bloggers I would throw for the jugular with just lie like suckling pig.
I will list them here and if anyone thinks I should try again to give me his reasons, thanks.
The first with which I was not the "Ulysses" Joyce, I've tried twice, but nothing.
"Wild Swans" I was recommended by a highly cultured man of great sensitivity and the first time I went to China when China was genuine, to try to understand them, because I got half and I feel the same with the Chinese, I can not.
"Rayuela" de Cortázar, okay, the witch is a very interesting character but his prose is sooo repetitive it bores me.
"The Savage Detectives" Bolaño, was in the country of the above, around 98, when he was given the award Herralde and it seemed appropriate.
"Forest of the Night" by Djuna Barnes.Aquí might interest me I woke up the offending author, who had had an unusual education and various abuses by his immediate family.
"Women Who Run With Wolves" by Clarissa Pinkola Estén.Me recommended by a former boss whom I owe my career and I liked it, the truth is I do not know how I thought I might like it coming from a guy like him , which prevented him from racanería give it to me.
"Ladera this" Octavio Paz.Me a friend gave it to the books I tend to agree, yes it is a fervent advocate of "The Secret", there are several things that should not match.
"The women's Bible by Elizabeth Cady Stanton.Me gave it the only woman I know who seemingly has everything, is beautiful, two-run, easygoing but with a philosophy of his, an extraordinary gift of gab and love can ONLY for inner beauty, regardless of sex, status, size, weight, political beliefs (and it has card game), nationality, incredible but existent.
"Call me Brooklyn" by Eduardo Lago.Pensé that if he had given Nadal, if not good, maybe I was entretenido.Craso error.
"Count Belisarius" by Robert Graves.Deduje that coming from the author of "I, Claudius" I would both like the series, but no.
"The turn of type" by Graciela Montes and Ema Wolf.Sin be fat I could not finish it, the fact that the two had been written to be read out as a swinging, but unlike other books written two-handed swing here that I found unbearable.
"La novia de Matisse" by Manuel Vicent.La truth is that "are of the Sea" I was not passionate, and I gave had a second chance because he saw potential ... I was wrong.
What we do not read more than blogs, do not agobieis, nothing happens because I do not comenteis today, another day will be.
